Access Networks

Access Networks offer interference tolerant, scalable networks for data, voice, and video applications. Cambium Networks PMP solutions are proven with 4 million modules deployed in thousands of networks around the world.

Cambium PMP wireless broadband access networks deliver high-speed Internet access, video surveillance, SCADA, streaming video, and VoIP applications. These carrier-grade last-mile solutions provide wireless access connectivity to build fiber, cable, and DSL network extensions to reach underserved areas, or expand business networks. Solutions are also used for SCADA and smart grid applications, 3G offload, or other broadband communications.

PMP access networks operate in the licensed, unlicensed, and federal frequency bands, providing superior performance in a wide variety of bands, including 900 MHz, 2.4, 3.5, 3.6, 4.9, 5.1, 5.2, 5.4, 5.7, and 5.9 GHz. Release 13.0 brings 3 GHz spectrum:

Rural Connectivity

The Cambium Networks PMP 450 Access Point (AP) provides up to 125 Mbps throughput and can be deployed in multiple rings to provide more than 1 Gbps of throughput. The low latency of the PMP 450 provides access network connectivity for video, VoIP, and data for business and residential connectivity.

The Canopy wireless broadband access 430 series system enables services providers to extend DSL, fiber or cable networks to underserved rural areas. For industrial applications, network operators can rapidly connect an entire campus and remote office locations. Government Network Operators can establish cost-effective links for public safety, public service, and public access. Canopy wireless broadband access networks provide last mile network extensions that provide carrier grade connectivity. Proven in thousands of networks around the world, the Canopy system provides consistent and reliable performance that can be rapidly deployed to meet connectivity requirements.
